TRIAL FLIGHT
If you’ve been thinking about whether flying is for you then why not book yourself a Trial Instructional Flight also known as a TIF Flight.
A Trial Instructional Flight (TIF FLIGHT) is a short introductory lesson introducing you to the basics of flight. It is designed to give you a taste of flying and help you decide if pursuing a pilot licence for either a career or hobby is for you.
A TIF Flight is an ideal present for someone who has shown an interest or passionate about aviation or is just a thrill seeker.
TIF FLIGHT – NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
The trial flight is for the novice. You do not need to know anything about aircraft or have any theory knowledge about learning to fly.
The aircraft we use is a Cessna-172 (C-172), one of the safest and most popular training aircraft in the world. Over 40,000 have been built to date.
Your training aircraft is equipped with fully duplicated controls.
Your friendly experienced flying instructor will guide you through the flight with the aircraft under your own control.
At completion of the Trial Flight its up to you to decide whether you would like to continue on with flight training.

Our flight training team has conducted Pilot Training in Melbourne for close to 20 years. Based at Essendon Airport flights are conducted seven days a week, weather permitting.

Eligibility requirements for Trial Flights
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants, trial flights are subject to the following requirements:
- Participants must be at least 15 years of age at the time of the lesson.
- Due to aircraft weight limitations, the maximum individual weight is 100 kg.
